Hi, I’m Steve West, founder of GoWest Staging. Based in Marin, I partner with real estate clients across San Francisco and the greater Bay Area to present their properties at their absolute best. My eye for design was trained early on; I grew up trailing my parents through antique auctions, soaking in their contagious passion for curating beautiful spaces. Today, I use that lifelong appreciation for classic design, elegant symmetry, and striking focal points to transform houses into highly desirable properties that buyers instantly connect with.
I deeply understand the strategic art of staging a home to sell. While the goal is to capture as large a market as possible—often by leaning into versatile, neutral palettes—I firmly believe that mass appeal never has to mean boring. A beautifully staged home should still have soul, character, and life. My approach is to strike the perfect balance: stripping away just enough personal clutter to let the home’s architecture shine, while styling it with enough warmth, elegance, and subtle drama that potential buyers can immediately picture their own lives unfolding there.
Hi, I’m Jonathan. As the landscaping partner for our team and the owner of Eco-Gardening LLC, my goal is to make sure the outside of your home is just as inviting as the inside. I’m a lifelong West Marin local, and growing up surrounded by the natural beauty of Inverness and Point Reyes heavily shaped my passion for creating landscapes that feel organic. I first got my hands dirty in this business at 15, working alongside my godfather. When it comes to our staging projects, I collaborate closely with Steve from GoWest Staging. He guides the plant placement and overall garden design, and my team and I bring that vision to life to ensure the property makes a stunning first impression.
If there’s one thing I never compromise on, it’s fostering a positive team environment. I take huge pride in having a crew that works seamlessly together, genuinely enjoys the work, and takes real ownership of their craft. Giving back to the community that raised me is also incredibly important, which is why I proudly serve on the board of the West Marin Community Land Trust (CLAM). When I’m not out in the field, you can usually find me taking advantage of the coast by fishing and running, or relaxing by hunting down the next great addition to my sports and trading card collections.
